For more details, go here.
- On Thursday, October 22nd from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, the Hanover Civic Association is hosting a forum with the Hanover Board of Supervisors candidates from the Ashland and Mechanicsville Districts, as well as the candidates for the House of Delegates race for the 55th District. This will take place at the Berkley Lodge (219 Berkley Street in Ashland). For more details, go here.
Please try to attend.
For those of you who couldn’t make the Forum on Thursday, here’s the full, unedited video. It was was a great event, and thanks to Faye Prichard and Web Stokes for taking the time to share their thoughts. And special thanks to the forum moderator, Heather Sullivan, and to our co-sponsors for making it happen–the Coalition for Hanover’s Future and the Herald-Progress.
To make the candidates’ responses easier to access, we’ve compiled them on a single page with links to their full answers. Please take time to read your candidates’ thoughts on important issues surrounding Hanover County Public Schools. Although we’re disappointed that only half of the candidates responded, the responses by the candidates who did are well worth the read. Don’t forget to come to the Ashland District Forum this Thursday, October 8 at Patrick Henry High School, and please vote on November 3!!
